Professional dancer, circus artist or student? And curious about the working method of Panama Pictures? On July 4th and 5th we organize a workshop in our studio with choreographic assistant and teacher Miquel de Jong and our regular performers Tarek Rammo and Francesco Barba introducing you to our way of working.
The workshop focuses on improvisation and instant composition by using a method that combines elements of contact improvisation, floor- and aerial acrobatics and martial arts with compositional tools. You are encouraged to trust the instinctive knowledge of your body and follow its natural movement impulses while being actively involved in the overall composition.
