Thirteen third year students of Fontys Dance Academy and Circus and Performance Art (ACaPA) are regular guests at Panama Pictures in February and March.
Together with movement coach Miquel de Jong and performers Francesco Barba and Tarek Rammo, Pia Meuthen made a reinterpretation of the performance The Future is not what it used to be, especially for the students.
During sixteen rehearsals, the students work on this adaptation and receive lessons from Mick, Tarek and Francesco in the company’s methodology, the quality of movement and the combination of dance and acrobatics.
The result, The Future is not what it used to be | Part Two (a co-production of Panama Pictures with Fontys Dansacademie and ACaPA), will be presented on Friday 1 April (4.30 pm and 8.30 pm) in the studio of Panama Pictures (Den Bosch) and on Saturday 23 April in De Warande (Turnhout).
