Miquel de Jong is the choreographic assistant and movement coach of Panama Pictures training the performers and working in close collaboration with choreographer Pia Meuthen. Next to this he works as a dancer, a rolfer and a teacher giving workshops in many countries such as Russia, Spain, Germany and China. His dance career started at Scapino Ballet, the Netherlands and then brought him to France where he worked as first soloist at the renown modern dance company L’Opera de Lyon and Ballet Preljocaj and later to London where he danced for choreographer Russell Maliphant. Through the inspiring work with Russell he came in contact with a variety of movement styles and techniques such as improvisation, contact improvisation, capoeira, acrobatics and body-mind techniques like yoga, thai chi, rolfing and meditation. His view on dance and movement changed entirely and led him to discover his own method for teaching improvisation and instant composition called improXchange.

Tarek Rammo has joined Panama Pictures in 2017 and plays an important part in the work since then. He is a former gymnast and graduate from Codarts Circus Arts in Rotterdam. Tarek is a multidisciplinary circus artist specialized in aerial straps and acrobatic movement who has worked for companies such as Cirque du Soleil, the 7 Fingers, André Gingras / DanceWorks Rotterdam and Ulrike Quade. Tarek is also creating his own work under the name TK circus, teaching at Codarts Circus Arts and giving masterclasses and lectures in the Netherlands and abroad.

Francesco Barba started his dance career in Italy where he practised capoeira, contemporary dance and contact improvisation. He continued his dance studies in The Netherlands at the Theatre School in Amsterdam. After graduation Francesco worked as a modern dancer for several well-known choreographers and companies in the Netherlands and abroad, such as Gabriella Maiorino, Liat Waysbort, Giulio D’Anna and Staatstheater Kassel (Germany). In 2014 he joined Panama Pictures. His contribution to the performances of Panama Pictures is of great importance for the development of the work.
