Our work requires specific performers: circus artists with movement talent who are open to a completely new approach to their discipline and dancers with acrobatic talent who are not afraid of taking physical risk.
Panama Pictures chooses an almost exclusively male ensemble and emphasizes a raw physical aesthetics. The charismatic performers, a diverse cast of dancers and acrobats with different backgrounds and ages, have a natural ‘presence’ on stage and great craftsmanship within their discipline.
The core of the company is formed by two performers: Francesco Barba and Tarek Rammo. In addition, the company works with a pool of international performers who join the company on project base.
